Ep103 – Baby British Sausage Rolls

Need to make some snacks for this weekend? If you have about 45 minutes to spare before the game, you’ll want to make these delicious sausages wrapped in flakey puff pastry. We also added good mustard in one batch and spicy Sriracha in another for another layer of flavor. You gotta try it with Sriracha (the rooster chili sauce), it’s amazing.

Ep102 – Sweet Hot Wings

Need a snack for “The BIG Game”? Well we got you hooked up with Sam’s sweet and spicy hot wings. Minimal ingredients, lots of flavor, and a guaranteed hit, you’ll definitely want to see how he makes it so that you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the game.

Ep101 – Incredible Oven Risotto

This is not the risotto for the purists. Tonight Sam cooks a creamy, garlic, onion risotto in the oven. The usual process of babysitting Arborio rice until it becomes meltingly tender is great but if you’re short on time, make risotto this way and taste how good it can be. Try it, you’ll probably never make risotto any other way.

Ep100 – Blue Cheese, Caramelized Red Onion Quesadillas!

One-hundred episodes people! Thank you for being with us as we grow and learn and come up with more things to entertain you. If you’re just tuning in welcome and we hope to see you for another hundred. If you’re a long time fan, you guys are our lifeline and we appreciate it. Tonight Sam makes a killer appetizer, blue cheese and red onion quesadilla. Truly amazing.

Ep99 – Mexican Caesar Salad

Sam’s Mexican Caesar Salad is one of those things you just gotta make to believe how good it is. The secret is in the dressing. It’s not a traditional Caesar and it uses a surprise ingredient, but it is every bit as good. Also, we go through some of Sam and Steve’s favorite way of sidestepping some calories while snacking and drinking.

Ep98 – Asian Scallops, Ask Alyse, Happy Chinese New Year

It’s the Year of the Dragon everyone! And to celebrate, Sam whips up a delicious Asian-inspired seared scallop. Also, be sure to take out your notepads, because we talk with nutrition guru Alyse Levine as she debunks some diet myths and gives tips on healthy eating.

Ep97 – Chipotle Shrimp and Cheesey Grits

Today we make an amazingly simple, quick, and deliciously hearty shrimp and grits. It’s definitely one of those go-to dishes when the weather outside is a little blah and you need a warm and fiery dish to make you feel better. We also check out a flourishing cake biz and balance that out by looking at Alyse Levine’s 12 healthy snacks of 2012.

Ep96 – Mediterranean Chicken Wraps. Paula Deen, seriously?

On today’s show we make a Mediterranean Chicken Wrap that will blow your mind right in front of your face. It’s in honor of a little weight watching on our part (and Paula Deen’s serious failure to contribute anything to the society’s medical issues) to make a healthy dinner that does not skimp on flavor one bit. Imagine lean, well-seasoned seared chicken breast rolled into a wrap with a light green salad dressed with a red wine vinaigrette and a sprinkle of tangy feta cheese. Wait, stop imagining and watch the show because it looks as good as it tastes too.

Ep95 – Delicious Eggplant Tofu Stirfry. Yes, you heard right.

Stirfry is one of those amazing things that everyone should be doing. It requires a cheap wok, a good amount of heat, and whatever veggies you want to throw in there. Pair it with an efficient rice cooker and you have dinner that is simple and healthy. Be sure to tune in to hear about the amazing places Sam and Steve went to eat at in Vegas last week and be sure to tune in on the next episode so that we can talk healthy eating. It’s not something we’re known for but after last week’s binge eating, it’s time to ease it up a bit.

Ep94 -The Amazing Grilled Eggplant and Tomato Sandwich

Tonight on The Sam Livecast we find out two things: 1) 9v batteries is our lifeblood, without them, the show gets weird (like a fun weird though) and 2) Sam can make a mean vegetarian sandwich that tastes amazing. Don’t forget that next week we won’t have any new livecasts and as bummed as we are about not filming, we plan on storming back the following week starting on Monday, January 16th. Find our livecast on the iTunes podcast page, leave us a comment about how we’re doing and suggest what our 100th episode should be about on our Facebook page.
