Ep5 – SD Chargers’ Vincent Jackson, Grapefruit & Gin, Artichokes

Sup Livecasters. Today we make a gin and grapefruit cocktail, talk food and behind-the-scenes NFL stuff with our very own #83 Vincent Jackson. Learn about Vincent’s favorite foods, his on-the-road eats, and what he likes to cook. Then to end our segment, we make artichokes with two awesome dipping sauces: a mayo/mustard/curry sauce and a chipotle butter sauce.

Follow along as Sam makes a delicious cocktail out of Chambord, vodka, and pineapple juice and whips together a quick and tasty 3-ingredient salmon that goes great over rice.

Ep1 – First Ever Livecast, Origins of “The Cooking Guy”

So here’s the first Livecast! Yes, we know there’s a glitch with the video that might make it too annoying to watch, but we still wanted to put it up to give you a chance to at least check it out. This problem will NOT happen again, so if you miss the live show on Wednesday you’ll still be able to see a proper video of the show.

And so here’s the deal with iTunes: they have reviewed and approved our first Livecast, so starting later tonight you can subscribe to it and download them directly to your iPod or whatever device you use to get podcasts.

LIVE! – Tonight at 6PM PST

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about The Sam Livecast and how it’s going to work. While Sam works out what he’s cooking up for you tonight, I’ll go ahead and introduce myself and explain how this is going down.

I’m Lynn, Sam’s approved technology guy. I’ll be running the cameras and videos from the control room and occasionally making an appearance to badger Sam on his etiquette. By the way, if I miss a cue or switch to a non-functioning camera, it’s always Sam’s fault, not mine. Don’t let him tell you otherwise.

Sam, where can we see the show?!

Well I’m not Sam but… you can catch the livecast RIGHT HERE on thesamlivecast.com. About 15 minutes before we go live, go to the home page and you’ll be greeted with a livestream box and a camera feed while we’re getting ready. At the appointed livecast time we’ll get rolling!

What if I’m busy while you guys livecast?

Not to worry. Our shows will always be re-watchable at any time you please. Think of us as your own personal DVR. Except, you can only watch one show. Ours.
