You can make your own banana bread from scratch, but why bother? Buy it as a mix or buy a loaf already baked. My vote is for the mix – keep a box or 2 in the pantry and make it the night before. Either way, this is a great and easy morning change.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
- 1 tablespoons butter
- 4 or 5 slices banana bread
Steps
- Beat eggs in a flat style bowl
- Stir in milk, sugar and Grand Marnier
- Melt butter in pan over medium heat
- Dip bread in egg mixture and cook in pan until brown on both sides
- Serve with warmed maple syrup
