Worried about what to bring to your New Year’s Eve party? Don’t fret, Sam’s got you covered with one amazing champagne cocktail and a delicious appetizer: rich, herbed goat cheese spread on a warm, toasty flatbread topped with cool smoked salmon and briny capers. Takes 5 minutes to assemble as you talk to the folks at the party. Just be sure to tell them that you learned this on The Sam Livecast.
Okay so what is a LIVE show without its set of issues? Tonight we figure out just how much we love technology and the stuff that powers this livecast. We make a super tasty cambezola (camembert and gorgonzola mix) appetizer that never got recorded (sad, we know) but we show you what it looks like anyway. Still though, this three-quarters livecast is beter than most anything out there and we have you, the fans, to thank for that.
Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy holidays from all of us here at The Sam Livecast! The show would not be possible without you, the Livecast nation, so our present to you is a new year full of amazing new shows. We’ll see you tomorrow night!
On tonight’s livecast we make the most amazing baked sweet potatoes with four different toppings (Southwest corn/black bean, sauteed mushroom/garlic, caramelized onion, and cream cheese/scallion)… live! Just don’t be like us and remember to give them ample time in the oven so that they can come out soft and fluffy. Tip: if you’re short on time, try the microwave! We also give some stuff away to a loyal fan we talked to on the phone as well as show off a sweet livecast picture book Sam got for Hanukkah (Kelly is amazing).
Livecasters rejoice! It’s the holiday season and in this episode, Sam teaches you how to make two outstanding holiday appetizers you can bring or make at your get together. First up is a brie, mango chutney, and brown sugar thing that will take you about one minute to prep and less time to devour. Second is a small bite of melty ricotta and hearty pasta sauce on top of a toasted baguette. Happy Holidays livecasters, thanks for chatting with us on the phone (talking to you super fan Addie Corn!), posting on Facebook, Twitter, and telling your friends about us. We truly appreciate it!
