Welcome to The Sam LIVEcast folks–where anything can happen. Steve is back on the camera tonight and he started the show with a bang… over some critical cables we have on the floor. But that happens on the world’s only live, unedited cooking show. Tonight we talk to the owner of Shark Attack Cocktails and his very unlikely story of becoming the creator of such a unique product. To celebrate, we make a special carne asada dish popular in Southern California and whip up a fresh batch of guacamole to top it off.
It is National Bourbon Day and we are celebrating by drinking Old Fashioned cocktails and by making an outrageously good bourbon baked brie. If you’re new to the livecast you’ll find soon enough that we say whatever is on our mind for better or worse. We’re asking you guys for your honest opinion about the show so send us your love/hate: http://thesamlivecast.com/contact-us.
It’s cinnamon night here on the livecast and because you guys delivered on the Facebook love (http://facebook.com/samthecookingguy) we delivered on the promise to make Sam hack down a tablespoon of cinnamon in 60 seconds. But cinnamon is so much more than a dorky way to get people to gag and spit–it was born to mix with sugar and coat puff pastry strips to make one of the tastiest desserts out there.

It’s National Corn Day livecasters so naturally, we’re going to make a killer corn recipe that’s quick and easy and show you a cool corn shucking trick that you can do in the microwave.
Remember to catch us live when we broadcast three days a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 6P Pacific right here on http://thesamlivecast.com.
If you can’t make that, log onto iTunes and search for “The Sam Livecast”. You can subscribe to us there to have every episode freshly delivered to your computer 3 times a week!
The cool thing about having your own live cooking show is that you can let your viewers decide what you’re going to make–live. So with the myriad of ingredients you could stuff your burgers with, we took it to the Facebook crowd and they voted for blue cheese, bacon, and red onions. Well, it turns out the viewers are pretty darn smart because these things were so so good.
