Bread week continues with this amazing simple 3 ingredient loaf of bread. Sam made this recipe for a crispy outside yet soft and doughy loaf that you can make in only 5 minutes. How is it possible you ask? The yeast from the beer helps it come alive and while of course you can use any beer – he used Newcastle Brown Ale for flavor. Thought bread was a pain? Think again.
The Bread Week festivities continue with this unbelievably soft and puffy Kalamata Olive Focaccia. With only two main ingredients – the dough and the olives – the only way you can mess this recipe up is if you don’t have hands. We love bread week, all hail carbs!
Ep257 – Continuing with the egg theme started by the Scotch Egg earlier in the week, Sam decided to create a unique recipe combining hard boiled eggs into an equally unique potato salad. This recipe is perfect for any pot-luck or BBQ, and with Spring here and Summer closing in you will need as many of them as you can possibly get.
A hard boiled egg, surrounded in spicy italian sausage, breaded in crumbs and then finally baked in the oven until crispy on the outside. So fun and delicious. The recipe is here
Today’s episode is a little different from a normal show. We decided to head north to the Costa Mesa Fixtures Living to shoot in one of their amazing show kitchens. On top of the new location we decided to try a Chopped-style cooking exercise where Sam and Lynn each alternated through two five-minute intervals, cooking a dish together without communicating their intentions to each others. I think you’ll be amazed at what they managed to throw together completely separately. Enjoy!
